- Thousands of people demanded the resignation of politicians blamed for the tragedy in Cetinje during a protest in Montenegro's capital, Podgorica, reported RTCG television. Thirteen people, including two children, were killed as a result of a shooting in this southern city. The demonstration was organized by a group of students in front of Montenegro's Ministry of Internal Affairs. The gathered crowds demanded the resignation of Interior Minister Danilo Šaranović and Deputy Prime Minister Aleksa Bečić, who is responsible for security and defense.
- At least 11 people were killed in clashes between gendarmerie officers and members of the Red Command criminal group in the state of Rondonia, in western Brazil. The clashes have been ongoing since Monday. Authorities in Rondonia, quoted by Globo television on Thursday evening, reported that most of the deceased were random bystanders from the city of Porto Velho.
- The mega-rocket and Starship spacecraft lost communication with the base on Thursday during its seventh test flight at an altitude of 91 miles above Earth. It was reported that the Starship rocket disintegrated in the air. Nevertheless, the first stage of the Super Heavy rocket successfully landed.
- The detained president of South Korea, Yoon Suk-yeol, once again refused to attend an interrogation on Friday regarding an investigation into his declaration of martial law. The court rejected the politician's lawyers' request to examine the legality of his arrest warrant. The third day of questioning by investigators from the Corruption Investigation Office for High-Ranking Officials (CIO) was supposed to start at 10 AM local time. "The president will not appear at the CIO today. He has sufficiently expressed his basic stance to the investigators on the first day," said Sok Dong-hyeon, a lawyer and longtime friend of Yoon, to the Yonhap agency.
- The Hollywood turmoil continues. Justin Baldoni is suing Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds for $400 million, alleging they attempted to destroy him. A few days earlier, Lively sued Baldoni, accusing the star and director of "It Ends with Us" of harassment on set and conducting a media campaign aimed at damaging her public image.
