The latest poll conducted by Ipsos for Reuters indicates that after the debate, Kamala Harris has increased her lead over Donald Trump to 5 percentage points, with support at 47%, while Trump stands at 42%.

The previous Ipsos poll showed a four-point lead for the Democratic candidate. Following the debate, most of those surveyed by Ipsos (52%) considered Kamala Harris the winner of Tuesday's showdown in Philadelphia, while only 24% believed Donald Trump won. These results align with other surveys taken after the debate.

However, the Ipsos poll does not suggest that the clash of candidates will fundamentally impact the race for the presidency. In the latest nationwide survey, which accounts for likely voters, Harris garners 47% of the votes while Trump holds 42%. This lead is greater than the margin of error (3%), but only by 1 percentage point compared to a similar survey from the end of August.

Other surveys published after the debate also indicate a lack of significant changes. In a poll by the right-wing tabloid "New York Post," conducted by Leger, Harris leads Trump by 3 percentage points. However, her lead has decreased by 1 percentage point compared to the survey from August after the Democratic convention in Chicago.

In a survey by another polling firm, SoCal, conducted on behalf of a Republican-affiliated center, Harris increased her lead by 1 percentage point compared to the previous survey from August.
