A source from Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, reported that about 20 soldiers were detained on September 13 and transported to the army security office. The main reason for the arrest was violating Kim's personal security protocols.
The leader's security team concluded that "Kim’s security team felt the soldiers lacked focus and appeared sloppy during shooting drills, potentially endangering the leader’s life." Meanwhile, the Army Security Office issued notifications emphasizing the need for strict adherence to Kim Jong Un's protection rules.
