The death toll from the Russian attack on Marganets has increased to nine, up from the previously reported seven fatalities.
"Unfortunately, the number of deaths in Marhanets has increased. The enemy attack took nine lives. Condolences to the relatives and friends," wrote Serhiy Lysak, head of regional military authorities, on Telegram.
"People were going to work. Russian strikes on Ukrainian civilians do not stop," added former Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko.

Following the attack, many people have been injured, and the number continues to grow.
" The number of injured is constantly growing. According to current information, there are 30 of them. The aggressor hit a bus with enterprise employees with a suicide drone," added Lysak.
Local authorities are still gathering information about the victims, and more photos from the site of the attack are surfacing online.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that the bus was hit by a Russian FPV drone.
