The knife attack happened on Tuesday evening in central Tel Aviv, injuring four men. According to medical rescue personnel, two victims sustained moderate injuries, while the other two suffered minor ones.

As reported by the Israeli emergency services, the perpetrator was shot dead at the scene.

The police have classified the attack as a terrorist attack. Officers are searching the area to ensure there are no further threats.

Attacker shot by civilian

The attacker was shot by a civilian, and large police forces quickly arrived at the scene, reports "Haaretz." It was noted that the attack took place in a crowded area filled with cafes and restaurants.

Documents found with the attacker indicate he was a 29-year-old Moroccan with permanent residency in the USA. He arrived in Israel on Saturday for tourism purposes, according to public broadcasters' journalists from Kan.

Series of knife attacks

This is not the first such incident in Tel Aviv. On Saturday, another knife attack occurred, seriously injuring a 28-year-old man. The perpetrator was a Palestinian, who was also shot dead by a civilian passerby.

In December, in the city of Herzliya, located north of Tel Aviv, an 83-year-old woman died as a result of a knife attack. The Palestinian attacker was shot by a security guard at a nearby post office.
