On Tuesday, the Electoral College officially elected Donald Trump as President of the United States. According to the results from individual states, Trump received 312 electoral votes, while Kamala Harris, representing the Democratic Party, garnered 226 votes.
The electors, chosen during the November elections, gathered in each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia to formally certify the election of the new president. This process proceeded in accordance with the voting results in each individual state.
The last voting took place in Hawaii, where four electors cast their votes for Kamala Harris. The voting concluded on Tuesday at 7 PM Eastern Time.

Despite the defeat, Harris expressed pride in the conduct of her campaign. "I am so proud of the race we ran and the way we ran it," she emphasized. I get it, but we must accept the results of this election," she stated.
As the campaign concludes, speculation is already arising about potential Democratic candidates for the 2028 elections. Among the names mentioned by party insiders are Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro.
