Trump's bold claim on ending Ukraine war faces Russian skepticism
Donald Trump has repeatedly stated that he is capable of swiftly ending the war in Ukraine. He even claimed that if he were the President of the USA, Putin would not have attacked Kyiv. However, Russia seems to have a different view. Dmitry Medvedev, a Russian official, doubts Trump's ability to end the war. "If he tries, he might become the new JFK," Medvedev wrote.

Please note that many reports from Russian media or government representatives are elements of propaganda. Such reports are part of the informational warfare conducted by the Russian Federation.
Donald Trump has repeatedly stated that if he wins the election, he will stop the war in Ukraine, even claiming he could do so "within 24 hours." In an interview with America's "The Wall Street Journal," Trump mentioned he even warned Putin against starting the war. He reportedly said, "Vladimir, if you attack Ukraine, I will hit you so hard that you won't even believe it. I will hit you right in the middle of Moscow. We are friends. I don't want to do it, but I have no choice."
However, Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, doubts Trump's capabilities. The former Russian president does not believe that the Republican candidate can end the war in Ukraine "in one day, three days, or three months."
"If he tries, he might become the new JFK," Medvedev wrote.
John Fitzgerald Kennedy was the 35th President of the United States, who was assassinated on November 22, 1963, in downtown Dallas.
Medvedev has previously threatened Trump
Medvedev previously commented on Trump's statement regarding his conversation with Putin. "Trump got carried away. Did he really talk about 'hitting Moscow?' Of course not," he wrote on social media.
The former Kremlin leader suggested that Trump is merely posing as a tough negotiator. "Generally, he is as smooth as silk in negotiations," he said. To such words, there is only one response: Your Washington will get hit too. Overall, our relations with him are warm," he concluded.
Putin himself also spoke on the matter. He stated that "he does not remember" such a conversation and emphasized that "there is no point in threatening Russia, as it only invigorates it."
