- After Palestine and Lebanon, the Israeli government, motivated by the illusion of the Promised Land, will target our homeland - said the president in the Turkish parliament. - Israeli aggression also targets Turkey. For our homeland and independence, we will confront this state terrorism with all the means at our disposal - he declared.

- Occupation, terror, and aggression right next to us. We're not facing a state bound by law, but a horde of killers that thrives on blood, occupation - he added.

He also accused Israel of recently committing "all possible crimes against humanity." He accused Israel of "genocide" in the Gaza Strip, conducting "terrorist attacks" in Lebanon, and attempting to drag the countries of the region into conflict.

Warning from Turkey. Erdogan speaks directly

Erdogan warned Israel that the consequences of its ground operation in Lebanon would not be the same as in the case of "previous occupations." He announced that the Turks would support "their Lebanese brothers" in every possible way.

Erdogan's statement was made before the Iranian attack on Israel, which took place on Tuesday evening. Iran struck with about 200 ballistic missiles. The Israel Defense Forces reported that the attack did not result in any severe losses.
