The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, concluded his tour of Europe, promoting his "victory plan." The newspaper Bild assessed the results of this trip as "rather weak." Military expert Carlo Masala stated that Zelensky "made no progress on either of his two main demands in his 'victory plan''.

Military expert Carlo Masala, in an interview with "Bild," stated that Zelensky did not make progress on two key demands of his plan. The portal reported that the Ukrainians have two main demands, which they also directed to the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz.

Was the European tour a failure?

One of the demands is the ability to use Western weapons against strategic targets in Russia. For this, Zelensky needs more long-range Western weaponry, including Storm Shadow from the UK, Scalp EG from France, and, above all, Taurus from Germany. The second demand is a promise of a fast-track procedure for Ukraine's admission to NATO.

Carlo Masala, an expert on Ukraine, told "Bild" that "Zelensky has not made any progress on the two main demands of his victory plan."

- From the Ukrainian point of view, the European tour was a failure - he assessed.

Ramstein meeting canceled; Biden held back by hurricane

The portal also reminded readers that U.S. President Joe Biden canceled a support meeting this weekend in Ramstein, Germany, due to Hurricane Milton, which hit the Florida coast on Friday.

- An excuse - a Ukrainian insider told "Bild." - Biden simply does not want to comment on Russia's war against Ukraine during the election campaign - he added.

"Bild" also learned that the German Ministry of Defense does not believe Ukraine will be able to conduct a "counter-offensive to liberate its own territory" soon. At the same time, the Bundeswehr will no longer supply Ukraine with "large equipment." According to a succinctly worded internal document accessed by "Bild," the transfer was "finalized."
