As suggested by Defence24, it might involve Vulcano ammunition. The Polish military plans to integrate the Krab with these projectiles, which enable shooting over such long distances.
Representatives from the Leonardo company, the manufacturer of Vulcano, confirm that discussions about trial tests are ongoing.
Vulcano missiles: Ukrainians might have tested new ammunition
Reports from Ukraine indicate that their soldiers might have already tested Vulcano missiles in combat conditions. Thanks to this ammunition, the Krab achieves twice the range compared to standard rounds. Vulcano, with its design, allows for precise hits with an error margin of just 2-3 yards.
The Vulcano missiles are sub-caliber ammunition, smaller than the classic 155 mm shells. With the support of a GPS-guided system complemented by INS, they ensure high precision.
