Trump and Putin's secret talks hint at war's end
According to YouTuber Vyacheslav Zauresky, Russians are being prepared for the war's end. In his video, the Russian YouTuber presents a propaganda film that aims to explain to the public the potential for negotiations and a possible ceasefire.
Following Donald Trump's inauguration as President of the United States, there has been increasing talk about a ceasefire. The U.S. leader stated in a media conversation that Putin told him during a conversation that he wants to end the war. At the same time, if this were not the case, Trump would likely be aware of it. Russians and Americans have already met to initiate peace talks, and a meeting between Trump and Putin in Saudi Arabia is on the horizon.
Russian Vyacheslav Zauresky, closely follows media and events in his home country. He stated that Russians are preparing people for the end of the war. Whether this will result in victory or defeat remains unclear, but until now, soldiers were primarily told to liberate Ukraine and fight to the end. There was talk of demilitarization and denazification, yet Ukraine continues to resist, and nobody wants to speak Russian, according to Zauresky in his film.
He added that in propaganda films broadcast on television, viewers often saw soldiers changing Ukrainian place names to Russian ones, as was the case with Avdiivka. Usually, Russians also heard that these efforts were still insufficient.
People observe this every day. On February 23rd, Defender of the Fatherland Day, a patriotic film was anticipated, but instead, they received something completely different. Zauresky explained that this represents the first such signal—not explicitly stating it but hinting at preparations for the war's end.
In the film, an elderly couple discusses the war. The man questions the existence of Ukraine, noting that capturing even a small village can take months. It's unclear how much longer the conflict might last. He mentions nuclear missiles as a means to end the war quickly. Ultimately, the film shows images from the front, depicting two attacked soldiers. Their suffering and longing for family are portrayed.
Many, especially soldiers, initially believed that Ukrainians had produced the film, but that is untrue. The people featured were later revealed to be Russian actors. The source of the recording remains unclear, but if Zauresky noted that the creator is unknown, it was likely made by the authorities.
