The decision to suspend military equipment deliveries does not affect intelligence, satellite support, and communication, which remain uninterrupted.

The U.S. continues to provide Ukraine with intelligence, satellite images, and access to the Starlink satellite communication system. "Such a suspension of aid would be felt much more quickly and severely by Ukrainian forces on the front line," the informant pointed out.

Intelligence and satellite support: Ukraine still has it from the U.S

The decision to suspend support includes much equipment destined for Ukraine. President Trump has not yet approved any new weapons packages for Ukraine, but until Monday, he allowed the flow of weapons under previous packages announced by Joe Biden.

In December and January, President Biden announced two equipment packages from American stockpiles, valued at $1.75 billion, and the purchase of equipment for Ukraine, valued at $1.25 billion, under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI). So far, about one-third of the weapons from the PDA packages have been delivered, and further deliveries could take several months.

It is unclear whether the pause affects the USAI program, through which Ukraine was to acquire most of the ammunition for air defense systems. Once the contract for weapon purchase is signed, the weapon becomes Ukraine's property, but authorities can use legal provisions to redirect or reorder the deliveries.

Last year, the Biden administration prioritized the delivery of Patriot missiles to Ukraine over other orders. Contract fulfillment usually takes many months.
